Lily provides legal support in corporate practice and regulatory compliance, with emerging technologies, software as a service (SaaS) and digital transactions as the industry focus. She has assisted in advising a technology startup on virtual assets trading and confidentiality obligations, and a stock information social media on licensing requirements by the Securities and Futures Commission. She also designed bespoke data privacy policies for the digital platform of a high-net-worth asset management firm and reviewed the SaaS agreement for a digital identity and discovery platform.
Prior to joining JC Legal, Lily assisted in initial public offering and legal advice on foreign investments at a Hong Kong law firm. She has also worked for Nestlé China in Beijing crafting data privacy protection guidelines and conducting policy research, and was the legal advisor for a technology company in Shantou, managing legal risks in respect of third-party online food transactions and preparing various legal agreements for business operations.
Lily passed the National PRC Judicial Examination in 2017, and holds a Master of Common Law from the University of Hong Kong as well as a Bachelor of Law from Shantou University. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
