JC Legal Celebrates 2nd Office Move in 4 Years – Legal Service Made Easy by Virtual Legal Clinic and Startup Steward Programme

New chapter at a new office

JC Legal relocated its office to Strand 50, Sheung Wan, in June 2022 with an expanding team. This marked the law firm’s second move in four (4) years and a sign of its extraordinary growth as one of the top 30 fastest-growing firms in Asia, despite prolonged disruptions by the pandemic. Award-winning Virtual Legal Clinic empowers the distressed during and beyond the pandemic

In 2020, JC Legal launched the Virtual Legal Clinic to ease the public frustration for not being able to consult a lawyer face-to-face. The Virtual Legal Clinic enables anyone to ask a lawyer online for as brief as 20 minutes for instant directions at a fraction of hourly rates and pay online by credit card. With positive feedbacks from clients, JC Legal now offers an additional loyalty privilege to waive the consultation fee for clients who engage legal service within seven (7) days after the Virtual Legal Clinic.

The Virtual Legal Clinic has won multiple recognitions, such as the Gold Award for Best Service to Combat and Reduce the Impact of COVID-19 at the 2022 CEO and Executive World Awards. Ms Janice Chew, as the mastermind behind the initiative, received a Bronze Award for Executive Hero of the Year – Effective Leadership During COVID-19.

Upgraded Startup Steward Programme highlights expanded partnership offers

JC Legal supports startups and SMEs through its flagship Startup Steward Programme, a monthly legal retainer programme that provides a comprehensive one-stop solution for high-growth companies, whereby the service scope is customised according to business needs. The firm recently upgraded this programme to provide more exclusive privileges to clients.
