In-house Series
Bring Your Own Buddy (BYOB) is an in-house monthly mingling series first launched in September 2022 in wish to create a solid community for new sparks and spices. Each month with a theme, it gathers business leaders at a spot, while each brings along his/her like-minded buddy to look out for further crossovers and collaborations. Talk the Talk, on the other hand, enables leaders from different fields to share their insights on a deeper level through sharing and Q&A. We host these events with one main goal – to facilitate a healthy business ecosystem for Hong Kong entrepreneurs.
BYOB - Women business helping women business
We held our first gathering on 30 September 2022 with the theme of (Women) Business Helping (Women) Business. We gathered women entrepreneurs, and their friends, in all fields who have the mindset to grow their vision, network, and of course, business.
BYOB - Making a Difference
The October one was on 'Making a Difference'. Having groups of trendsetters - representatives from NGOs, industry pioneers from the technology field, F&B side, event planning, education and more.
BYOB - Damp January
1st episode for 2023! We gathered this entrepreneurial group to share their businesses, the struggles, the trends and the upcoming projects.
BYOB - 1st episode in Malaysia
Our first attempt in hosting BYOB in Malaysia was a success! We have a table of 20 from similar and different fields to exchange expertise. It feels so good to be spreading this in-house series and our vision out of Hong Kong. We are looking forward to hosting more episodes in the future!
BYOB - Women Power for IWD
For the March episode, it is on Women Power to celebrate International Women Day. We have a group of inspiring women leaders from the media industry, beauty field, yoga and fitness instructor and more. Found out quite a lot of the ladies are professional yoga lovers!
BYOB - Alumni and new buddies
It's the 6th episode of BYOB and we made it rather special - alumni dinner. We welcomed joiners from the past episodes to create a greater bond within this community, and of course, with new buddies to join. Another night ended with laughters, new sparks and a lot of wines.
BYOB with Kenneth Yim Tax Limited
We partnered up with our long term partner Kenneth Yim Tax Limited for this episode of BYOB. We had so much fun mingling with familiar and new faces, and we managed to enjoy the calm before the super typhoon Saola hit.
Talk the Talk - Give Back
Our first Talk the Talk was held in November 2022, with the theme of 'Thanksgiving' and a lineup of 10 speakers in a cozy setup. The 2 panel discussions were filled with inspiration and thoughts, and warmth as well when they were telling the audience who they wanted to give back to the most. The 1st panel was a mini version of BYOB with the theme 'slasher'. We are so grateful for the full house support indeed!
