Janice is the mastermind behind Startup Steward Programme and Virtual Legal Clinic, showcasing how she has a distinct vision in turning risk into opportunities. Janice started her career as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia in 2007, specialising in commercial litigation. She then earned her legal qualification in Hong Kong in 2014. Janice currently leads the broad practice of JC Legal and JC Corporate Advisory Sdn Bhd in cross-border commercial law, dispute resolution and regulatory compliance with her 15 years of practising experience. Within her legal profession, Janice was shortlisted twice as Young Lawyer of the Year at the ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2021-2022 and JC Legal was recognised as Venture Capital Law Firm of the Year in Legal Awards 2021 organised by Lawyer Monthly.

She is also active in the Malaysian community in Hong Kong, serving as Chairperson of the Malaysian Association of Hong Kong 2022-2023 and Trade & Services Subcommittee member of the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong and Macau).
